Street Resurfacing Project
The Director of Engineering & Utilities for the City of Littleton has providing the following information regarding the street enhancement project that is currently being performed.

  • Slurry coating will increase the life of the streets 7-10 years by lessening the chance of potholes and cracking.
  • The sharpness of the surface aggregates will wear off over time.
  • The sand in the slurry is to help increase traction and decrease street wear.
  • This is a much more expensive and durable application than just seal coating.
  • The City will come by and street sweep when the last street is completed.
ATTENTION!!
Lock your cars at night and close your garage doors. There were a string of car break-ins over the weekend (5/8-5/9). Cars left unlocked and garage doors left open are a welcome opportunity for intruders.

    Trash and Recycling - Fridays
Alpine Waste and Recycling uses the Altogether Recycling program, which will allow us to recycle almost all dry trash. Our old trash and recycling receptacles can still be used. Please be sure that your recycling container is labeled Recycling.

The Alpine trucks will be in the TrailMark area first thing in the morning so trash and recycling should be put out by 7:00 A.M. on Fridays.
